OutBack MX60 MPPT Charge Controller

Get the most from your PV array. The MX60 Charge Controller will deliver up to 60 amps continuous output to any battery system between 12 and 60 volts. The Maximum Power Point Tracking will run your PV array at its greatest power point, and down-convert the excess voltage to something your batteries can digest. Power conversion efficiency is an incredible 99.1% at 40 amps, or 97.3% at the full 60 amps output. MPPT technology will deliver about 15% more power to your batteries on a yearly average, and delivers up to 30% boost in the winter, when your batteries probably need all the help they can get.

A PV array that's wired for 48 volt output can be used to charge a 12 or 24 volt battery, reducing wire size and power loss. Set points are fully adjustable for any battery type, chemistry, and charging profile. Periodic equalization cycles may be programmed (for wet cells), or not (for sealed cells).

The MX60 comes with a four line, 80 character backlit LCD display for monitoring and programming. It's easy to read, easy to use, and easy to understand. The optional Outback Mate will plug into the MX60, and will allow control and monitoring of up to eight MX60 controls from up to 300 feet away.
