Leonardo Da Vinci left an important legacy in his voluminous notebooks. This book includes writings in both Italian and English on sculpture, architecture, anatomy, astronomy, topography and other fields; letters, nature studies, personal records, inventories, favorite fables, his will and other written memorabilia; as well as 186 plates of manuscript pages and many facsimile-sized drawings.
